Skills Bradford University produces 1,850 graduates per year. The University was recently ranked second in the UK for graduate employment in a survey by The Times. Bradford University has a long history in the launch of innovative degree programmes and is now leading the way in the development of Cybernetics. In the last Research Assessment Exercise, the University of Bradford’s Archaeological Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Peace Studies and Biomedical Sciences were rated as grade 5 research areas. Construction Naturally, the regeneration has led to a construction boom in Bradford and its surrounding district. Indeed, it is estimated that over £2 billion of construction work will be completed here during the next few years. In 2001 there were no city-living schemes in Bradford.
